New Home Sales: January 2012

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for January showing a monthly decline with sales dropping 0.97% since December but rising 3.55% above the level seen in January 2011 and remaining at an historically low level of 321K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 151K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale increased to 7.1.

The monthly supply declined to 5.6 months while the median selling price declined 9.57% and the average selling price declined 5.11% from the year ago level.

New Home Sales: December 2011

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for December showing a notable monthly decline with sales dropping 2.2% since November and 7.3% below the level seen in December 2010 and remaining at an epically low level of 307K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 157K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale declined to 6.7.

The monthly supply remained declined to 6.1 months while the median selling price declined 12.81% and the average selling price declined 8.81% from the year ago level.

New Home Sales: November 2011

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for November showing a monthly increase with sales climbing 1.6% since October and 9.8% above the level seen in November of 2010 but remaining at an epically low level of 315K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 158K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale going flat at 7.4.

The monthly supply remained declined to 6.0 months while the median selling price declined 2.5% and the average selling price declined 13.77% from the year ago level.

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for October showing a monthly increase with sales climbing 1.3% since September and increase 8.87% above the level seen in October of 2010 and remaining at an epically low level of 307K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 162K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale declined to 7.4.

The monthly supply remained declined to 6.3 months while the median selling price increased 0.04% and the average selling price declined 0.05% from the year ago level.

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for September showing a monthly increase with sales climbing 5.7% since August but declining 0.9% below the level seen in September of 2010 and remaining at an epically low level of 313K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 163K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale declined to 7.9.

The monthly supply remained declined to 6.2 months while the median selling price declined a notable 10.35% and the average selling price declined 9.93% from the year ago level.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 162K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale declined to 8.9.

The monthly supply remained flat at 6.6 months while the median selling price declined 7.72% and the average selling price declined 8.48% from the year ago level.

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for July showing a monthly decline with sales falling 0.7% since June but increasing 6.8% from July 2010 and remaining at an epically low level of 298K SAAR units.



It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 165K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale declined to 9.4.



The monthly supply remained flat at 6.6 months while the median selling price increased 7.15% and the average selling price increased 4.67% from the year ago level.

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for June showing a monthly decline with sales falling 0.95% since May but increasing 1.63% from June 2010 and remaining at an epically low level of 312K SAAR units.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 164K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale increased to 9.9.

The monthly supply declined to 6.3 months while the median selling price increased 7.15% and the average selling price increased 4.79% from the year ago level.

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for May showing a monthly decline with sales falling 2.15% since April but increasing 13.52% above the level seen a year earlier to a historically low 319K SAAR units.

These results, continue to indicate that the nation's housing markets are firmly entrenched in a double-dip and come fully in-line with the other pitiful housing data-points I have outlined in past months.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 166K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale increased to 9.2.

The monthly supply declined to 6.2 months while the median selling price declined 3.43% and the average selling price declined a notable 5.23% from the year ago level.

New Home Sales: April 2011

Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for April showing a monthly increase with sales climbing 7.31% since March but still declining 23.10% below the level seen a year earlier to a historically low 323K SAAR units.

These results, while again strengthening a bit off of February's horrendous level still clearly indicates that the nation's housing markets are firmly entrenched in a double-dip and come fully in-line with the other pitiful housing data-points I have outlined in past weeks.

It's important to recognize that the inventory of new homes has now fallen to a new series low at 175K units, lowest level seen in in at least 47 years while the median number of months for sale remained elevated increasing to 8.8.

The monthly supply declined to 6.5 months while the median selling price increased a notable 4.61% and the average selling price declined 0.59%.
