Spears, 26, is due to release her sixth studio album, Circus, in December.

Britney Spears and Madonna are definitely teaming up. The two are filming a video for Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet" tour, it has been confirmed by Brit's manager, Larry Rudolph Larry also said that Britney will not be appearing on Madonna's tour which begins in late August.

New mom Jamie Lynn Spears, daddy Casey Aldridge and baby Maddie were catching up on rest Saturday following the birth Thursday at a hospital in McComb, Miss., near the Spears family home across the state line in Kentwood, La., a source tells PEOPLE.

Jamie Lynn was discharged from the hospital overnight Friday, with the new arrival getting an early education in her family's notoriety: their car had a police escort home.

"They're doing terrific," the source says. "The baby's got 10 fingers and 10 toes ... and a full head of hair. She's long, a tall baby, and she weighs 7 lbs, 11 oz."

When the baby was born at about 9:30 a.m., Jamie Lynn's sister, Britney Spears, and the rest of the Spears and Aldridge families were just outside the birthing room in the spacious maternity suite.

The relatives then joined the new family in the birthing room and took turns holding Maddie Briann and commenting on her features. When new grandmother Joyce Aldridge held the baby, she remarked that Maddie "has Casey's toes," the source says.

Jamie Lynn, 17, and Casey, 19, intend to get married soon, but no date has been announced. Jamie Lynn recently purchased a home in nearby Liberty, Miss., where she and Casey have been living for about three weeks.

The actor and the pop star – once neighbors in an exclusive Malibu community – were part of a two-hour group dinner at the Romanov restaurant in Studio City on Saturday.

"It was exciting to have both of them here together," says one restaurant source. "We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited."

Clad in jeans, a green top and boots and chewing gum, Spears arrived at the Romanov restaurant with her friend Victoria. Gibson, accompanied by a few friends, soon joined them in the restaurant's private dining room, which features a 24-karat gold leaf ceiling, an ornate fireplace and a library stocked with such works as Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace. Kim Kardashian wants to give Britney Spears a makeover! In a posting on her video blog, Kim said: "I would love, love, love to give Britney Spears a makeover. I think everyone wants to give her a makeover. But I think that she is so cute and sweet and has a great style. But it's all fallen apart and it's a mess now. After being banned from seeing her children for a month and a half, Britney Spears had her second face-to-face visit with her children Jayden James and Sean Preston today in Beverly Hills. The visit last three hours and happened between 9 AM and 12 PM. Britney needs to work on her own issues before attempting to salvage her career and I think she is doing just that.

A little over one year to the day when Britney Spears shaved her head, she made another hot mess appearance while going to get sushi! Britney even gave us a semi-crotch shot!

Let's look at the bright side, she is no longer driving around aimlessly at 4 AM, shopping and getting lattes constantly, being controlled by enablers like Alli Sims, Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi!

Britney has a big day in court today that could either be good or very bad. We'll give updates as soon as they come in.

I'll never understand the hating of Britney Spears' parents, since they have intervened we have seen a bit less of Britney and that's a good thing. It will be a long way to recovery but I do believe she is on it!

Britney also looks to be sedated and to me that is indicitave of psychiatric drugs which could either be a good thing or a bad thing.
